2010 National Art Competition
56th Juried Exhibition at The Haggin Museum

The Haggin Museum, Stockton, California
Reception: Thursday September 2, 2010

The Stockton Art League’s juried art competition returns to The Haggin Museum this fall with the promise of another diverse mix of works from long-standing local artists and the possibility of newcomers from around the country.

The original competition was conceived in 1951 to recognize, promote and reward excellence in Northern California art. The competition was expanded in 2006 to include all of California, in addition to Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. It has grown since then to include artists from throughout the United States.

Juror of Awards: Margot Schulzke

The Haggin Museum's address:
1201 N. Pershing Ave - Stockton, CA 95203
For more information, view the Museum's site.

Two of my paintings, "Preoccupied" and "An Offering" have been chosen for this exhibition. If you're in town, please stop by to say hello, enjoy the artwork and the beautiful museum.

"Preoccupied" won Best of Show Award.

Thank you to Jared and Madeline for modeling.
